Sailing Program
The Waterfront Committee is pleased to announce the 2024 Youth Sailing Program.
Program Dates
The 2024 Youth Sailing program at the Riverdale Yacht Club will run from June 18 to July 27 (Tuesday to Saturday, 9 AM to 3 PM). Novices and experienced sailors ages 8 to 18 are welcome to join the program. The program is open to members and their friends.
Instructors
Martina Perez will return as head coach for her 3rd summer of instructing at RYC. Martina will be joined by three accomplished sailing instructors from Argentina. All of our international instructors have secured their work visas and will arrive June 10. The core team of instructors will be joined by Anja, Lucas, and Zoey for part of the season.
Program Costs
Sailing charges will be $650 per week (lunch included).
Registration
Registration is open for the 2024 program. Members can register their kids, and kids of relatives and friends. A $100 deposit will be charged to the member’s account at the time of registration. All other costs will be charged to the sponsoring member’s account in July and August 2024. Please fill out the attached registration and 2024 waiver forms and send them back.
We encourage members to register early. This will allow us to plan ahead as well as ensure that your sailor(s) have a spot in the program come summer.
