Sailing Program
2026 RYC Youth Sailing Program
June 16 - August 1
Preparations for this summer’s youth sailing program are in full swing! Our instructors have been selected and will arrive in Riverdale on June 10th and instruction begins on June 16th.
The curriculum is organized in two week blocks but sailors can sign-up in one-week increments. Drop-ins cannot be accommodated. The weekly program fee is $750 per week ($640 sailing fee/week plus $110 lunch/week). The program concludes with the Half Moon Regatta in Nyack on August 1nd, followed by the instructor farewell and end-of-season party on the south lawn of the RYC.
If you haven’t yet registered, please sign-up as soon as possible. The first three weeks of the program reach capacity quickly. Please register your sailor(s) by contacting Andreas Kottmann at ahkottmann@gmail.com or Dan Friedman at dtaft.friedman@gmail.com. Non-member friends are welcome to join in the fun so if you know of someone who is interested, please have them contact Andreas or Dan.
